Iron Dad - Message of congratulations :)..x

What started off as an example portrait, quickly turned into something else. I'd been painting Robert Downey Jr for a couple of days when he suddenly announced that he and his wife Susan are expecting a little girl in November. Iron Dad! So in celebration of this timely announcement, I painted the skyline of Manhattan behind him which is his own place of birth, and in the sky are two star constellations: Scorpio on the left, and Sagittarius on the right, either of which his baby girl is due to be born under. Congrats to Robert, Susan and family ..x
